Outstanding hosts
Extremely nice and accommodating.....I believe it was Richard and Jean-Marie who were there, and they were outstanding hosts.....they went out of their way to make sure we had anything we needed and were great with recommendations and such...food was good...free Internet which was great, and everything was clean and comfortable.
The private parking garage was great as well. The location was more up in a residential area versus right downtown, but we had a car anyway, so it was not a big deal for us, and only a few minutes from everything so that wasn't really an issue for us.

Staff were excellent
MannaBay was fantastic. The house is really impressive and the breakfasts and teas were too good! The staff were excellent: very attentive, helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed spending time with them.

Didn't want to leave
The night at MannaBay spoiled even the most jaded of us. The luxury of the place and Richard’s care was the best accommodation we could have asked for. It was so nice, in fact, that I didn't want to leave.

Very professional and friendly
The MannaBay guesthouse was just lovely - the only problem was that we were so keen to see as much as possible each day that it left little time to take full advantage of our beautiful accommodation!
We could have easily spent a week there and we probably would have been much more refreshed if we had, instead of racing around like mad things.
The staff are very professional and friendly. We were made to feel welcome as though it was home and we received personalised service. It's the first time I've stayed at a boutique guesthouse so it was a new experience having that level of personalised and professional service. Nothing was too much trouble. It was reassuring to know, being in a different country, that should you need anything they could most probably get it for you.
The breakfasts were delicious and access to the internet very convenient. The manager, Richard, was very friendly, has a lot of experience and must run a tight ship - not that you ever know because everything just magically happens without you seeing any effort.
We loved our time in the Cape and we'd go back again to MannaBay.

Highlight of our honeymoon
My wife and I were very happy with our honeymoon stay at MannaBay. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. We just love the place.
It feels very cozy to be there, not like the usual cold feelings you get in a 5 star hotel. My wife and I have traveled quite a fair bit around the world to various accommodations and I would say the service in MannaBay was above others.
I find it to be better than some top notch resort in Asia. Jean-Marie was really good and helpful for making all the arrangements. Shadrack has provided great insight on SA and Africa which makes our stay even more fruitful. Generally, the whole team in MannaBay has been great! Will recommend this place for sure.

Comfortable and welcoming
